    DEFENSE INDUSTRY

    Research and Development of Tactical Networks

    ü       Software and hardware development for tactical information networks that provide data for command and control Army/Navy air defense units.

    ü       Requirements development for radio IP networks and bandwidth management for duplex/simplex data links as well as requirements for use of radio LAN/WAN networks for Military/Law enforcement intelligence needs.

    System Development  & Integration Aboard Aircraft

    ü       Troubleshooting for the Airborne Reconnaissance Low program (Radar, Unix Workstation, Communication equipment and VME chassis's).

    ü       Network design and implementation of onboard systems of the U.S. Army aircraft and sensor integration of radar (HISAR, MTI), Electro-Optical (Model 20) and Infra-Red Line Scanner (IRLS) components and associated software.

    ü       System configuration management and delivery of software, application installation requirements and procedures for the ARL program to the customer site.

    ü       Use of VxWorks and Solaris for development of GUIs for operator interfaces.

    ü       Training, mission planning and operation with Army MI battalions. Operation and knowledge of the military transmission methods included SATCOM, UHF, VHF, HF. Use of AN/PSC-5, AN/ARC-210, AN/LST-11x radio and associated crypto equipment.

    Field Support for Cooperative Engagement Capability Program using a VME Bus Single Board Computer-Based Hardware And Software System

     

    ü       Technical assistance to U.S. Naval personnel for real-time VME bus multiprocessor computer systems and for Naval Fleet Operations. Used and understood VME single board multiprocessors and specifications such as Motorola 680x0 and MPC604 processors.

    ü       Systems integration with VME processors with the use of TCP/IP, UDP, NTDS (GET, ANTARES), and Solaris and X window applications.

    ü      Support to Navy Auto ID IFF systems that interface with UPX-27 and UPX-29. Also installation and checkout of CES equipment on board the Eisenhower Battle group and the USS WASP and a US Customs P3 Orion aircraft.

    Systems Integration for Weapons, Navigation and Technical Analysis of Naval Shipboard Systems Alterations

    ü       Industrial support for NAVSEA Command in preparing test and installation procedures and basic system design, use of VAX/VMS to Novel LAN and a UNIX Intergraph workstation file transfer using TCP/IP.

    ü       Base system design for Navy combat, navigation and interior communication systems.

    ü       System block and wiring diagram development and system integration requirements.

    ü       Integration of Windows 95/NT, UNIX (SunOS, Solaris), and Novell file servers as well as workstations. Implemented DNS, NIS, and NFS across networked workstations. Use of protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and IPX for network productivity. Integration of Red Hat Linux as low cost workstation and developed platform for VxWorks and other real–time applications for use in tactical modem development and fieldingg.

    Operations and Maintenance Supervision for the Defense Intelligence Community

    ü       Software development, integration and testing, acceptance testing, and production of web services systems.

    ü       Tomcat, JBoss and Weblogic integration and testing support.

    ü       Day to day system administration and maintenance of Sun servers.

    ü       Virtual Knowledge Base and Horizontal Fusion project support; used Python and Java programming languages to provide system integration and administration automation.

     

     

    FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT

    DOJ/FBI DRUGFIRE Program

    ü       Support systems integration, deployment, and troubleshooting to include workstations, database servers and networking requirements and support.

    ü       Network design, implementation, and maintenance for a complex TCP/IP LAN/WAN environment requiring interoperation with a number of Federal and state WANs.

    ü       Network security implementation for DRUGFIRE and MSI corporate networks.

    ü       New forensic device integration development and associated software and protocols.

    DHS -- Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Department of Homeland Defense

     

    ü       Software development and integration of a Java Enterprise Architecture solution.

    ü       Integration of IBM Websphere application server, IBM MQ series Queue servers and Oracle 9i RAC.

    ü       Support applications development and building middleware to provide support for legacy data sources.

    ü       Integration of legacy databases and database schema’s to an updated W3 web services and J2EE EJB model.

    Financial Data Centers Worldwide

    ü       Software, hardware and network design, integration and testing of computing projects.

    ü       Interfaced daily with the customer regarding issues ranging from Time and Materials to installation, troubleshooting and data center installations.

    ü       On-site support of Citigroup’s Maryland Data Center which includes Sun hardware such as E10k, Ultra Enterprise Servers (6x00, 5x00, 4x00, 3x00 and Serengeti line) as well as E450, 250, 220 and 420s.

    ü       Integration of database, web services, mail and DNS servers across LAN/WAN the network.
